This is a  one and only bar on the corner of Avinguda des Forti and Calo des Pou. Next door to Doughertys bar for fine food snack and drinks year round. Our bar is a corner shaped bar, small interior, large bar, two toilets at rear, we have some freezers but they are quite old. He would rather be in Kent but preferably not with me.   Outside we have seating which we have tried to upgrade, there is a walk way through the front area for the public and, to say the least, we have visitors with dogs! the area has a modern washed down look as it needs to be done daily to keep up the ambiance. There are round and square tables some of these need renewing but should last a further season. I would rather be in Essex, but preferably not with him.   We have no food licence but get by with snacks. The kitchen has been cleared and treated due to infestations and a closure order.

The drains to the toilets do not meet under the building and therefore there is an odour in certain months in the year. We have been here nearly two years and have failed to make progress. This is a football bar selling low value goods from Makro, it makes the biggest profits in this area. Millwall supporters only, others are tolerated. There are no books as we  do not need a proper till. The water is only on a temporary supply. I am fed up losing money, am fed up paying rent - my home is a tip because the dog eats everything. Mallorca is not for me, he can´t spell Majorca. He´s just a plain Cala d´Or Cala Bore. The rent is now too high. Electrically we have lighting but the building now needs totally up grading.  In the last year we have made good and most problems have been covered over or temporally repaired. This a working bar but with its faults. If we had had our way all the cats in the area would have been put down. The council has done nothing for us re the processional caterpillars that amass in March April May and June, with their stinging hairs & toxic gluey bodies all over the seating. We have decided, to pass on as we have got nowhere via our lawyer, with the landlord about the condition of the property and the licences we don't have, along with mains drainage problems & low water pressure.We know we paid too much for this property and are trying to sue the former owners. Legal secretary I was, professional I was not. This bar could be a good bar if 60,000 euros minimum was immediately spent. I think I need the help of a successful con merchant to get me out of here. My ex-husband won´t help because I was unfaithful. I have one other helper (bore, football fanatic, one short of a sixpack, can just about read the Sun), trade is low but it could be made better. The cover ups have been done but there will be no help from Santanyi council or the local establishment.
You can find us for a drink but you will need to sit outside, we will help show what is needed for the electrics to be made good as they are not up to standard for selling food.
Marvel´s we are marvellous we are not. Successful  neither,   we are unable to change due to the pine trees and the biting pine flies, hygiene problems, no help from the officials - so gladly we are giving up this bar to any takers. In August we should have a record month but it will go on back rents. Wages are nil although we have had free helps for days off ie. family who have drunk us dry.
Please find us, we need help or your money to buy us out. We need cash.
